Strawberry Hill Removals

Strawberry Hill is named after the Gothic Revival villa designed by author Horace Walpole in the 18th century. Originally called “Chopped Straw Hall”, Walpole wanted a more distinctive name and discovering an old lease describing his land as “Strawberry Hill Shot”, he used this as a name.
Today Strawberry Hill House is open to the public Saturday to Wednesday between 11:00am and 4:00pm.
